1. Introduction

Resolve ("Resolve," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website https://growresolve.com and provides digital PR, link building, content, SEO, and paid media services to business clients.

We take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, our marketing communications (including email and SMS text messages), and the services we provide to our clients.

By using our website or providing us with your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Who We Are and How to Reach Us

For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us at contact@growresolve.com with the subject line "Privacy Request."

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact and inquiry information — your name, business name, job title, email address, telephone or mobile number, website URL, and the contents of any message you send us through our contact forms, quote requests, newsletter signups, or "Write For Us" submissions.
  • Mobile telephone number and SMS consent — if you choose to opt in to text messages from us, we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent (including the date, time, and the web page or form where consent was given).
  • Client and account information — for clients, the business, billing, and project information needed to deliver our services, including invoicing details and any credentials or access you voluntarily grant us to your marketing platforms.
  • Application and hiring information — if you apply to work with us or contribute content, the information contained in your application, résumé, or writing samples.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, health data, precise geolocation, or financial account numbers through our website. Please do not submit such information to us through our web forms.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Log file data — IP address, browser type and version, internet service provider, operating system, date and time stamps, referring and exit pages, and clickstream data.
  • Device and usage data — device type, screen resolution, language settings, pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and links clicked.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — as described in Section 7.

3.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from analytics providers, advertising platforms, business data providers, and our clients (for example, when a client engages us to run a campaign and shares their existing marketing or performance data with us).

3.4 Information We Process on Behalf of Clients

When providing services, we may access or process personal information contained within a client's website analytics, search console, advertising accounts, or customer data. In those cases we act as a service provider / processor on that client's behalf and process the information only as instructed by that client and as permitted by law. The client's own privacy policy governs that information.

4. SMS and Text Message Marketing

This section describes how we handle mobile phone numbers and text messaging. It applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

4.1 What We Send

If you opt in, Resolve may send you promotional and marketing text messages about our digital PR, link building, SEO, content, and paid media services — including offers, service announcements, event invitations, and follow-ups to inquiries you have made.

4.2 How We Obtain Your Consent

We send marketing text messages only to individuals who have given prior express written consent to receive them. Consent is obtained through a clearly labeled, unchecked opt-in checkbox on a form on our website, or through another express written method where the disclosures below are presented at the point of consent.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Resolve. You may do business with us without opting in to text messages.

We maintain a dated record of each opt-in, including the phone number, the date and time of consent, and the specific web page or form through which consent was given.

4.3 Message Frequency, Rates, and Support

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to any messages you send or receive.
  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at contact@growresolve.com or (208) 695-3918.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Supported carriers may change without notice, and message delivery is not guaranteed in all areas or on all carriers.

4.4 How to Opt Out

You may revoke your consent at any time and by any reasonable method. This includes replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message from us, replying with any other reasonable indication that you no longer wish to receive messages, emailing contact@growresolve.com, or calling (208) 695-3918.

After you opt out, we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging your request and will send no further text messages to that number. We treat a revocation as applying to all automated calls and texts from Resolve, not only to the specific message or campaign you replied to. We process opt-out requests promptly — in practice immediately, and in all cases no later than ten (10) business days after receipt.

Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our email list or other communications. To opt out of those, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly.

4.5 How We Use and Protect Mobile Information

We use mobile numbers collected through SMS opt-in solely to send the messages you consented to receive, to respond to your replies, and to maintain records demonstrating compliance with applicable law.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All of the categories of information sharing described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

We share mobile opt-in data only with the messaging platform vendors and telecommunications providers strictly necessary to transmit the messages you requested. Those vendors are contractually restricted from using the information for their own purposes, including their own marketing.

We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent records, and we do not license, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose them for any third party's marketing purposes.

4.6 Retention of Mobile Information

We retain mobile numbers and consent records for as long as you remain opted in, and we retain a record of your opt-out on our internal do-not-contact list for at least five (5) years from the date of your request, as required by federal do-not-call regulations, so that we can continue to honor it. We also retain consent records for at least five (5) years in order to demonstrate compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and related regulations. Surrounding marketing data is deleted or de-identified once it is no longer needed; the suppression entry itself may be kept indefinitely for the sole purpose of making sure we never contact you again.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, quotes, and requests
  • Provide, deliver, and improve our services to clients
  • Send marketing communications by email and, where you have opted in, by text message
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website
  • Measure and analyze website traffic, campaign performance, and marketing effectiveness
  • Personalize content and advertising
  • Process payments and manage client accounts
  • Recruit, evaluate contributors, and manage business relationships
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

Legal Bases (for individuals in the EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: your consent (marketing communications, non-essential cookies); performance of a contract (delivering services you or your organization engaged us for); our legitimate interests (operating and securing our website, B2B relationship management, analytics, fraud prevention) balanced against your rights; and legal obligations (recordkeeping, tax, and compliance).

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never disclose it to any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. Any marketing your information is used for is our own — promoting Resolve's services.

To run that marketing we use advertising and analytics tools provided by Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Those tools receive information about your visit so that we can measure our campaigns and show Resolve's own ads to people who have visited our website. Under California, Colorado, and Connecticut law, the terms "sale" and "share" are defined broadly enough to cover that activity — including disclosures made for other valuable consideration and for cross-context behavioral advertising — even though the advertising promotes only Resolve. We therefore treat it as a "share" and give you the right to opt out. See Section 10.2.

We disclose information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers and vendors — hosting, email and SMS platforms, CRM, analytics, payment processing, and professional advisors, each acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — as described in Section 7, in connection with website measurement and interest-based advertising.
  • Clients — where you have submitted information in connection with a specific client campaign and it is necessary to share it with that client.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy continuing to apply.

As stated in Section 4.5, none of the above categories include text messaging originator opt-in data or consent. Mobile information collected through SMS opt-in is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

7.1 Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, local storage) to remember your preferences, keep the site secure, understand how the site is used, and measure the performance of our marketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may cause parts of our site to stop working correctly.

7.2 Analytics

We use third-party analytics services — currently Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — to understand website usage. These services set their own cookies and receive information including your IP address and the pages you view.

We also use session-recording and heatmap tools (currently Lucky Orange) that record how visitors interact with our pages, including clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and the pages viewed during a visit. We use these recordings only to diagnose problems and improve our website. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into forms on our site.

7.3 Advertising

We advertise our own services online. To do that we use advertising platforms — currently Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, Reddit, and Google — which may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve Resolve's advertisements to you based on your prior visits to our website or other sites.

These advertisements promote only Resolve's own services. We do not provide your information to these platforms, or to anyone else, for their own marketing purposes.

Resolve has no access to or control over the cookies these platforms set, and their handling of the information they receive is governed by their own privacy policies.

You can learn about interest-based advertising and opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.

7.4 Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by applicable law, treating it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. Because there is no industry-accepted standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently respond to DNT headers.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

Type of informationRetention period
Website inquiry and contact form submissions3 years from last contact
Email marketing subscriber recordsUntil unsubscribe, then 2 years
SMS mobile numbers and consent recordsWhile opted in, plus at least 5 years after opt-out
SMS do-not-contact / suppression list entriesMinimum 5 years; may be kept indefinitely to honor your opt-out
Client account, project, and billing records7 years after the engagement ends
Website server logs and analytics data26 months
Job and contributor applications2 years

We may retain information for longer where required by law, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When a retention period ends, we delete or de-identify the information.

9. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls limiting information to personnel who need it, vendor due diligence, and regular review of our systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information to us at your own risk.

10. Your Privacy Rights

10.1 Everyone

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us at contact@growresolve.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of marketing communications. We will do our best to honor reasonable requests.

10.2 United States — State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Port your data — obtain a copy in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Appeal a denial of a request
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not disclose personal information to any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. We use your information only for our own marketing.

To do that marketing, we use advertising and analytics tools from Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit that set cookies and receive information about your visit. Because the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state laws define "sale" and "share" broadly — to include disclosures for other valuable consideration and for cross-context behavioral advertising — this activity may qualify as a sale or share even though the ads promote only Resolve. We treat it as such, and you may opt out at any time by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer, by adjusting your browser cookie settings, by transmitting a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing us at contact@growresolve.com.

Mobile information is expressly excluded. We do not sell or share text messaging opt-in data or consent under any circumstances.

How to exercise your rights. Email contact@growresolve.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," or call (208) 695-3918. We will verify your identity using information already in our possession before fulfilling a request. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide written proof of authorization. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by an additional 45 days with notice to you.

10.3 EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10.4 International Transfers

Resolve is located in the United States and our service providers may be located in the United States and elsewhere. If you access our website or provide information from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers — the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA, and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the United Kingdom.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. Resolve does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly send marketing text messages to anyone under 18.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at contact@growresolve.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-Party Websites

Our website contains links to third-party sites, including client sites, publisher placements, and social media. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our website or by direct communication where required by law. Your continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
